Interesting places

There are many interesting places to be found around Troll Peninsula worth visiting. The area is rich of both natural and geological monuments as well as cultural monuments. Some of them are to be found alongside the road or in a short walking distance such as the viewpoint in Ólafsfjarðarmúli, Natural Wetland of Friðland Svarfdæla or the black sandbeach of Dalvík. Other areas are more difficult to reach such as Hvanndalabjarg, Steinboginn in Skíðadalur, mountain tops and passages.
